OPTICAL INTERFEROMETRY
• basic concepts
--polarization, waves at an interface, coherence
• historical interferometers
--division of wave front, division of amplitude, multiple beam interference
• common interferometers and their applications
--Twyman-Green interferometer, Fizeau interferometer, Sagnac interferometer…
--Analysis of fringes
--practical considerations in using interferometers
